These blocks could be lovely with a little care, there are some lovely residents and if the council would put disabled access in like the law required, I would move here tomorrow.
I wholeheartedly agree, this block could be a local authority flagship. When it was built, there were people queueing up to get flats here as they are a great size and layout. I wish the disabled access would be done, and have been campaigning for the best part of 4 years for it.
If the health and safety issues here were resolved it would be superb also. At the moment the railings in the rear upper car park are in imminent danger of collapse. If someone is unlucky enough to reverse their vehicle into them they could end up crashing after falling roughly 10ft onto concrete!
Still Alf the local Councillor is on to it as we speak.
